Type of table grapes

The table grapes produced are both green and black. Among the various cultivar of table grapes produced, we must mention the most popular: Victoria, Black Magic, Black Rose and the Italia grape. Then follows the Apirena which is a type of special table grape, whose particularity is that it is seedless.

The plant

The territory is important for the production of table grapes. The vine belongs to the Vitaceae family, which lives very well up to 400 meters above the sea level and needs a lot of light. So, it grows in a very sunny area and a rather dry climate, where the combination of mountain and sea constitutes very favourable soil and climate for the development of table grapes. The plant produces small greenish flowers, which are called racemes.

When the first fruits sprout, we will have the grapes collected in clusters that, with the right ripeness, will give exquisite flavour to the grapes.
